Let's start a topic. It's been a while. Yes it was over 2 weeks ago but there's not much else going on conversation wise, what did people get up to for new years? I was in Melbourne so it was pretty novel being one of the first to celebrate, especially it being boiling hot. So used to being fucking freezing on nye but I ended up getting smashed in the hostel, went to a bar for free drinks, then went to a freeparty (outdoor illegal rave). In shorts n bikini. Totally forgot that we were meant to be waiting for midnight cos it didn't feel like nye. Got any stories?

Did nothing, had a beer. Jeez, been four years since I came here.

In bed before midnight, and slept through all the cheering and fireworks. I must be getting old...

Roommates and I had a small party, nothing too eventful.

Last minute plans ended up going downtown drunk (free busses and train) and watching fireworks by the lake. Proceeded to walk around and party with people in the streets.
