Simple Ayurvedic treatment

Ayurvedic medicines are excellent for the health as it involves only non-toxic, herbal ingredients. Many of the medicines are applications, these ointments have to be smeared on the body. There are plenty of Ayurvedic treatments for skin diseases. Botanical products and exotic herbs are used for treating ailments. Certain common herbs are Tulsi, Neem, cloves, and turmeric. Turmeric is applied on the skin to improve it, tribal women apply turmeric on their skin regularly and especially during wedding ceremonies. It is also an antiseptic and is widely used to colour food. Cloves are a perfect remedy for tooth ache while Tulsi is used against cough. Ayurvedic medicine treatment is centuries old practice. Since its inception, it has benefitted in a remarkable way to the human society. It has cure for several terrible illnesses and is popular in the present times as well. The medications are organic and have no toxicity or side effects. There are many ayurveda clinics, ashrams and hospitals that conduct the traditional treatments in the present times. Tourists throng these places, many of them located in God’s own country. There are several long term and short term treatments in Ayurveda. Some of the treatments include kizhis that are linen bundles filled with medicated oil and medicines and nasyams which is a practice of inducing medicines through nostrils. Many of the kizhis are ideal for relief of pain and to reduce swellings. Njavara kizhi is popular for pain and inflammation, it is even used for paralysis and lower back pain.
